2 ꢀ Dipped beam headlamps/  
Main beam headlamps  
(H4 ꢀ 60/55 W)  
3 ꢀ Direction indicators  
(PY 21 W amber)  
CHANGING A BULB

Turn the bulb holder C a quarter  
of a turn and remove it.

Remove the plastic cover B.  
Disconnect the connector.  
Push the spring D towards the  
right, as indicated on the head-  
lamp.  
Front lights  
-
-
Turn the bulb a quarter of a turn.  
Remove the bulb and change it.  
1 ꢀ Side lights (W 5 W)

Remove the plastic cover A.  
Remove the bulb holder.  
Remove the bulb and change it.

Remove and replace the bulb.  
In certain weather conditions  
(low temperatures, humid-  
ity), the presence of conꢀ  
densation on the inside  
of the headlamp glass is normal;  
it disappears a few minutes after the  
lights have been switched on.

Only use H4 bulbs manufac-  
tured by:  
- GE/TUNGSRAM.  
- PHILIPS,  
- OSRAM,  
to avoid damaging the headlamps.  
Direction indicator side repeaters  
(WY 5 W amber)  
4 ꢀ Front fog lamps (H1 ꢀ 55 W)

Open the flap, located under the  
mud guard, to gain access to the  
screw.  
-
Push the repeater cover for-  
wards and release it.  
-
Remove the repeater and  
change it.  
-
-
Remove the screw.  
Push the assembly outwards to  
extract it.  
Disconnect the connector.  
Turn the protective cover A a  
quarter of a turn.  
Contact a PEUGEOT dealer to ob-  
tain a new bulb.

These meet the anti-UV (ultra-violet)  
specifications necessary for the cor-  
rect operation and reliability of the  
headlamps.  
The headlamps are fitted with a poly-  
carbonate lens coated with a protec-  
tive varnish. You are strongly advised  
to avoid cleaning them using a dry or  
abrasive cloth and using detergent  
products or solvents.

Disconnect the connector B.  
Move aside the springs C.  
Remove the bulb and change it.  
Amber coloured bulbs (di-  
rection indicators and side  
repeaters) must be replaced  
by bulbs of identical specifi-  
cation and colour.  
To refit, proceed in the reverse order  
to removal.  
It is essential that the flap is closed.  
Use a soft, damp cloth with soapy  
water.
