Practical information
Additions of fuel must be of at least 5 litres, in
order to be registered by the fuel gauge.
Fuel tank
Tank capacity:
-
-
-
around 50 litres (petrol).
around 50 litres (Diesel).
around 45 litres (BlueHDi Diesel).
The key cannot be removed from the lock
until the filler cap is refitted.
Opening the filler cap may create a noise
caused by an inrush of air. This vacuum is
entirely normal, resulting from the sealing
of the fuel system.
With Stop & Start, never refuel with the
system in STOP mode; you must switch
off the ignition with the key.
Low fuel level
To refuel in complete safety:
F Remove the filler cap and hook it onto the
clip located on the inside of the filler flap 3.
F Fill up the tank completely, but do not
continue after the 3rd cut-off of the
When the low fuel level is reached

comes on in the instrument panel.
Approximately 5 litres of fuel
remain in the tank. When the
warning lamp flashes, very little
fuel remains in the tank.
F You must switch off the engine.

Once you have finished refuelling:
F Refit the filler cap.
F Turn the key to the right, then remove it from
the filler cap.
F Close the fuel filler flap.
Refuel as soon as possible to avoid running
out.

F Open the fuel filler flap by pulling with
a finger at the cut-out 1.
F Insert the key in the filler cap, then turn it to
the left 2.
If you have put in the wrong fuel for
your vehicle, you must have the fuel
tank drained and filled with the correct
fuel before starting the engine.
Refilling
A sticker on the inner face of the filler flap
reminds you of the type of fuel to use,
depending on your engine type.
