REAR READING LAMPS

Sill illumination
The sill lighting is at the bottom of each
door panel.
The lamps come on automatically
when a door is opened and switch off
automatically when all of the doors are
closed.
Boot light
The boot light is located in the right-
hand boot trim.
It comes on automatically when the
boot is opened and switches off auto-
matically when the boot is closed.
With the key in the ignition on or start-
ing position, press the corresponding
switch.
The rear reading lamps come on when
the key is removed from the ignition
and when the vehicle is unlocked.
They switch off gradually when the ig-
nition is switched on or when the ve-
hicle is locked.

With the key in the ignition on or start-
ing position, operate the relevant
switch.
The rear courtesy lamp comes on
when the ignition key is removed, on
unlocking the vehicle or on opening
one of the doors.
It gradually goes off after the ignition
has been switched on or the vehicle
is locked.
Pressing switch 1 switches on the
rear reading lamp concerned for
ten minutes.
Pressing switch 1 turns on the rear
courtesy lamp.
The courtesy lamp can be deactivated
by pressing switch 1 with the door open.
The map reading lamps are not affected
by this and may be switched on.
To re-activate the lamps, press the
switch, with the door open.
