50 Lighting, windscreen wipers and washers › COMING HOME, LEAVING HOME exterior lighting  
The headlights are misted up on the inside

a defect.

An incorrectly adjusted headlight range can cause in-  
sufficient vehicle lighting or can dazzle other road  
users.  
Malfunction of the automatic headlight circuit  
Clean the windscreen in the area of the rain/light  
sensor.  
Adjust the headlight range correctly.  
Adjust headlights for driving in right / left-hand  
traffic

DIY replacement of the following bulbs is possible.  
Have the remaining light sources replaced by a spe-  
cialist garage.  
When the high beam is switched on, it adjusts the  
light cone so that the drivers of oncoming and pre-  
ceding vehicles are not dazzled.  
The new bulb must conform to the specification of  
the original light bulb. The name of the bulb is  
marked on the bulb socket.
