Pilot Assist can be deactivated and switched  
NOTE  
WARNING  
Note that the Pilot Assist function only  
works when the driver's hands are on the  
steering wheel.  
With Pilot Assist in standby mode, the  
driver must intervene and steer and  
regulate both speed and distance to  
the vehicle ahead.

warned of the short distance by the  
Distance Alert* function.
