Door lock cylinders  
Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles recommends using Volkswagen Genuine de-icing agent (000 096 322) for de-icing.  
Do not use door lock de-icers containing grease solvents.

Do not use excessively hard, abrasive cleaning tools.  
Cleaning and caring for the interior  
Textiles, microfibre cloth and leatherette  
Remove dirt particles which adhere to the surface regularly with a vacuum cleaner so that the material is not  
permanently damaged by abrasion. Remove coarse dirt, e.g. stains, grease, ballpoint pen, with Volkswagen Genuine  
Interior Cleaner (000 096 301). Where necessary, use a mild soap solution made from a maximum of two tablespoons  
of neutral soap to one litre of water.  
NOTICE  
Using leather treatment agents, solvents, wax polish, shoe cream, stain remover or similar products to clean  
textiles, microfibre fabrics and leatherette can damage the surface.  
Natural leather  
Remove fresh dirt with a cotton cloth moistened with a mild soap solution made from a maximum of two  
tablespoons of neutral soap to one litre of water. Do not allow fluids to seep into the seams.  
Treat any dried spots and difficult dirt with Volkswagen Genuine Leather Cleaner0(00 096 323) →  
.
Apply a leather treatment agent to seats regularly, and after each clean. If the vehicle is parked outdoors for long  
periods, you should cover the leather to protect it from direct sunlight.  
NOTICE  
Never treat leather with solvents, wax polish, shoe cream, stain removers or similar products as these can cause  
significant damage to the material.  
Plastic parts  
Use a soft, moistened cleaning cloth and a mild soap solution.  
Use a solvent-free plastic cleaning agent to treat stubborn stains, e.g. Volkswagen Genuine Plastic Cleaner  
(000 096 314).  
Trim parts, trim strips made of chrome, aluminium or stainless steel  
Clean the surface with Volkswagen Genuine Chrome and Aluminium Care Product 0( 00 096 319 D).  
Chrome-plated trim parts can be protected using Volkswagen Genuine Hard Wax 0( 00 096 317).  
Controls  
Remove coarse dirt and other dirt that is difficult to reach using a soft brush. Then use a clean, soft cloth and a mild

Displays and screens  
Use a clean, lint-free cloth, e.g. Volkswagen Genuine Cleaning Cloth 0( 00 096 166 A) with a small amount of water, a  
suitable glass cleaner or LCD cleaner. Switch off the Infotainment system temporarily before cleaning.  
Do not clean the instrument cluster display or Infotainment system screen with a dry cloth.  
Rubber seals  
Clean with a soft and lint-free cloth as well as plenty of water. Treat with Volkswagen Genuine rubber care agent  
(000 096 310) on a regular basis.  
Seat belts  
Carefully pull the seat belt all the way out and leave it out. Remove coarse dirt with a soft brush. Clean the seat  
belt with a mild soap solution. Leave the belt fabric to dry completely and then allow it to roll up.  
WARNING  
Failure to clean the parts properly can cause damage to the seat belts, the fastenings and the belt retractor.  
Never try to modify or remove the seat belts for cleaning.  
Never clean the seat belts and their components with chemical agents.  
Do not use any caustic liquids, solvents or sharp objects.  
Protect the belt buckles against the ingress of liquids and foreign bodies.  
Let the cleaned seat belt to dry completely before allowing it to retract.  
Cleaning upholstery  
Clean the surfaces of the seats with a slightly moistened cloth→  
cleaning agents for treating coarse dirt.
