If the luggage compartment cover is installed in front of a rear seat it can cause serious injuries in the event of
sudden braking manoeuvres or an accident.
● When people are sitting on the rear seats in the third row, always install the luggage compartment cover behind
the third row of seats.
WARNING
Objects that are not secured or are secured incorrectly, or animals on the luggage compartment cover, could cause
serious injuries in any sudden driving or braking manoeuvre or in an accident.
● Do not stow any hard, heavy or sharp items either loose or in bags on the luggage compartment cover.
● Never transport animals on the luggage compartment cover.
Pull-out luggage compartment floor
It is easier to load and unload heavy objects on the pull-out luggage compartment floor.
Sliding the luggage compartment floor
—Open the boot lid .
—Press and hold down the button on the handle and push the pull-out luggage compartment floor forwards or
backwards on the rails.
—Close the boot lid if necessary .
Removing the luggage compartment floor
—Open the boot lid .
—Press and hold down the button on the handle and lift the luggage compartment floor upwards out of the rails by
the handle.
—Close the boot lid if necessary .
Fitting the luggage compartment floor
—Open the boot lid .
—With the handle facing the load sill, place the pull-out luggage compartment floor onto the rails while holding
down the button on the handle until the pull-out luggage compartment floor is lying correctly on the rails.
—Check whether the pull-out luggage compartment floor can be properly moved on the rails with the button on the
handle pressed down.
—Close the boot lid if necessary .
WARNING
In the event of a sudden braking manoeuvre or accident, objects could be flung through the interior of the vehicle
and lead to severe or fatal injuries.
● Objects on the pull-out luggage compartment floor should be secured.
● Never transport any adults or children on the pull-out luggage compartment floor.
