Depending on the vehicle equipment, only the
driver's seat or the front passenger seat is
equipped with a memory function.
Conditions causing the interruption of the
memory key memorisation
Memorisation is interrupted if any of the
following conditions are met:
Saving the settings with the memory keys on
the driver's door
– Sit in the driver's seat and adjust the
desired position → p. 115.
- The state of charge of the 12-volt battery is
too low.
- The key is pressed again
The time taken is approx. 10 seconds.
– Adjust both exterior mirrors
– The seat position is readjusted within approx.

p. 141.
– Electrically adjustable steering wheel position
p. 113.

Activate saved settings
(arrow) lights up.
– When the vehicle door is open and the
ignition is switched off, the stored positions
can be activated and set automatically. To do
this, briefly press the corresponding memory
– Within approx. 10 seconds, press memory

Saving the settings with the memory keys on
the passenger door

the desired position → p. 115.
– Press

Save the settings for reversing the exterior
mirror on the passenger's side to the
memory keys.

The front passenger exterior mirror automatically
leaves the memorised position for reversing
when the vehicle is moving at a speed of at least
15 km/h (9 mph) or if the control is turned
from position R to another position.
