this Owner's Manual depends on the type of mobile  
device and the applications installed in it.

Mobile device management  
Overview  
All information given is incidental and is for informa-  
tion purposes.  
Devices can be connected, disconnected, or inter-  
changed using mobile device management.  
The company, Volkswagen, cannot guarantee full  
functionality and compatibility, e.g. due to software  
update of the infotainment system and mobile devi-  
ces.

Bluetooth® compatibility of mobile devices  
2. Select the desired device from the list of availa-  
ble devices.  
Due to the large number of mobile devices, it is not  
possible to guarantee full Bluetooth® compatibility  
with the infotainment system. Bluetooth® compati-  
bility depends on the Bluetooth® version and the im-  
plementation of the Bluetooth® protocols on the  
part of the manufacturer of the mobile device.  
The selected device can be connected via the  
most recently used Bluetooth® profile.  
3. If two devices are connected to the Infotain-  
ment system, select the device to be replaced.  
App-Connect connection  
Applications in mobile devices  
The Infotainment system allows you to establish  
a App-Connect connection with a compatible mobile  
device using the following connections:

making it possible to display additional information  
on the Infotainment screen or to operate Infotain-  
ment.

Due to the variety of applications as well as their on-  
going development, the available applications may  
not work in all external devices. The company,  
Volkswagen, assumes no liability for their proper  
function.  
Mobile devices can be connected to the Infotain-  
ment system via USB cable or WLAN, as long as the  
mobile device supports .  
1. Connect the mobile device to the Infotainment  
system using a USBcable, or browse and con-  
nect it via WLAN.  
The range of available applications and their func-  
tionality is dependent on the Infotainment model,  
vehicle and region.  
2. Tap the icon of the supported connection.

1. Find available Bluetooth® devices in the mobile

2. Select the Bluetooth® in the Infotainment sys-  
tem.
