Front and rear fog lights

Switching on right turn signal – flashes on the
cluster panel
Light switch pull-out positions (depending on vehi-
cle equipment):
Left turn signal – flashes on the cluster panel

Front fog lights – when switched on, the indica-
tor light in the switch illuminates
Turn signal – convenience turn signal
Convenience turn signal causes the turn signal lights
to flash three times without having to move the lev-
er up or down.

Rear fog light – when switched on, the indicator
light in instrument cluster illuminates
1. Turn the light switch to the position

— Tap the control lever up or down.
The corresponding turn signal lights flash three
times.
2. Pull the light switch to the appropriate position.
Tap the lever in the opposite direction ahead of
time to stop signalling.
Hazard warning lights function

— Press the button in the middle of the dash-
board to switch them on/off.
Activating/deactivating convenience signalling
The function is activated or deactivated in the fol-
lowing menu in the Infotainment system:
The hazard warning lights may switch on automati-
cally during hard braking. The hazard warning lights
are then switched off again automatically during
start-up or acceleration.

Switch on the hazard warning lights e.g. in the fol-
lowing situations:
Troubleshooting
— When traffic slows down suddenly or when you
reach the end of a traffic queue.
Turn signal light defective
— When the vehicle is stationary in traffic
— When towing
flashes faster – right turn signal light defec-
tive
— Check the right signal light
When the hazard warning system is active and
the turn signal is switched on, the hazard
warning lights will be switched off temporarily and
only the turn signal will flash on the relevant side of
the vehicle.
