2.4.2. Engine-transmission-front suspension assembly

Once the multiple accessories detailed below are disassembled to remove the mechanical assemblies, it will be necessary
extract 4 screws from each transmission support (2 from each side), 2 engine mounting screws with the body support
Left side, 4 securing screws on the bottom of the body cradle (2 on each side) and 2 nuts for each shock absorber.

Substitution method

Remove the chest.
Remove the top protective cover of the engine (attachfoedr.2 screws).
•
Remove the protective grille from the water box (secured
for 4 nuts).
Empty the air conditioning circuit.
Remove radiators.
•
Disconnect two windshield wiper diffusers and tube-
water channels of the diffusers.
Remove the connector from the UCE (right side).

Remove air filter (secured by 2 screws).
Disconnect a connector and remove the clamp from thew-ater box motor (disconnect 1 connector from the
intake duct.

Transfer the calculator installation to the engine compartment.

Remove the fuse box, located above the battery. •
Remove the battery (secured by 2 terminals and•1 sDcrieswco)nnect the starter motor electrical harness and

Remove the battery bracket (fastened by 4 screws•). Unplug the connector from the flow meter.

Remove the electrical harness.
Remove the windshield wiper arms (secured by
1 nut each.

Unplug the service injection connector, situate-
on top of the starter motor.
Disconnect the power steering pump connector.
