Entering the mailbox number
The following options may be available during a
call depending on your mobile phone and the
type of connection:
Important: No mailbox number must have been
stored yet.

Enter the desired number.
– End call
– Mute

Press OK.
Selecting the mailbox number
Sending a tone sequence
Important: A mailbox number must already have
been stored.
Press Numbers. You can enter DTMF tones
(“touch-tones”), which are then sent to the per-
son you are speaking to.

Press Mailbox. The call will be started immedi-
ately.
Hold
Note
To place the current call on hold. Press Resume
to take the call again.
This service must be set up and activated by
your mobile network service provider.
Answering an incoming call
Depending on your mobile network service pro-
vider, one of the following options may be availa-
ble:
Dialling a number
Applies to: vehicles with telephone
Depending on your vehicle’s equipment, you may
be able to dial a number in the following ways:
– Answer: The current call will be placed on hold.
You will then receive the incoming call.
– Replace: The current call will be replaced by the
incoming call.
– Entering text via the MMI ðpage 31.
– Using the voice control function ðpage 34.
Declining an incoming call

If you select Ignore, the incoming call will be de-
clined.

To answer/end a call, press the button on the
Conference
multi-function steering wheel.
Important: There must be two callers on the line.
Depending on your mobile phone, the following
options may be available for an incoming call on
the MMI:
Up to five callers and one caller on hold can take
part in a conference (depending on the mobile
network service provider).
– Answer
– Ignore
Switching between calls
– Message
Important: There must be two callers on the line.
You can switch between two phone calls.
The Bluetooth connection is severed if you leave
the vehicle during a phone call. Depending on the
mobile phone, active calls may be transferred au-
tomatically from the MMI to your mobile phone.
