The following options may be available depend-  
ing on your mobile phone and the type of connec-  
tion:  
call and do not end the call before you are  
requested to do so.  
Settings  
Transfer call to mobile phone  
To transfer the current call to your mobile phone/  
Bluetooth headset*.  
Telephone settings  
Applies to: vehicles with telephone  
Retrieve call  
Applies to MMI: On the home screen, select  
TELEPHONE > .  
To transfer the current call from your mobile  
phone back to the MMI.  
The following settings are available, depending  
on your mobile phone:  
Add call  
Ignore with text message  
Edit mailbox number  
You can start a new call. The current call will be  
placed on hold.  
Switching between two mobile phones  
Remove conference participants  
Important: Telephone 1 and telephone 2 must be  
connected to the MMI.  
If a conference is in progress, you can remove  
participants individually.  
Switch phones: The device name of the available  
mobile phone will be displayed. Press the button  
to switch the phone.  
Microph. input level  
You can adjust the microphone input level by  
moving the slider.  
Ring tone and volume settings  
Note  
Ring tone and message volume: You can adjust  
the volume by moving the slider.  
The option Call waiting must be activated on  
your mobile phone for you to be made aware  
of incoming calls during a conversation.  
Ring tone: Select a ring tone from the list.  
Microphone input level: You can adjust the mi-  
crophone input level by moving the slider.  
Dialling the emergency number  
Applies to: vehicles with telephone  
Serial number (IMEI) of data module  
Applies to: vehicles with data module  
Important: A mobile phone must be connected to  
the MMI.  
The serial number (IMEI) will be displayed.  
Applies to MMI: On the home screen, select  
Directory settings

TELEPHONE > Dial number > the emergency  
number for the specific country (e.g. 112) > Di-  
al.

WARNING  
Switching between two mobile phones  
Since your telephone operates via radio  
waves, a connection cannot be guaranteed  
under all circumstances. Do not rely solely  
on your telephone when vital communica-  
tion is required (e.g. in a medical emergen-  
cy).  
Important: Telephone 1 and telephone 2 must be  
connected to the MMI.  
Switch phones: The device name of the available  
mobile phone will be displayed. Press the button  
to switch the phone.  
Always follow the directions of the emer-  
gency operators when making an emergency  
The directory of the selected telephone will be  
displayed.

To update the contacts in the MMI, you can down-  
load the contacts from your mobile phone man-  
ually. Depending on the mobile phone you are us-  
ing, the Bluetooth connection may have to be dis-  
connected and re-established before you can up-  
date the contacts.

MESSAGES > () > Text message (telephone  
1)/Text message (telephone 2).

tacts > Search for import data > USB device 1/  
USB device 2 > desired contacts or Select all >  
Start import.  
User-defined folders can be taken from your mo-  
bile phone.  
Message options

To export contacts to a storage device: Impor-  
tant: You must already have imported a con-  
tact. Select: Export contacts > Find export me-  
dium > USB device 1/USB device 2 > desired
