the buttons and the thumbwheel on the steer‐  
ing wheel as well as the displays in the instru‐  
ment cluster and the Head-up Display:

Turn on voice activation system.  
The Onboard Computer displays different ve‐  
hicle data in the instrument cluster, such as  
average values.

Display  
On the right side of the steering wheel, turn  
the thumbwheel to activate the corresponding  
list.  
Press and hold button on signal lever.  
1. Turn the thumbwheel and select the de‐  
sired setting.  
Information is displayed in the Info Display of  
the instrument cluster. Pressing the button re‐  
peatedly displays additional information.  
2. Press the thumbwheel.

Repeatedly pressing the button on the turn  
signal lever calls up the following information in  
the Info Display:

The range is calculated based on your driving  
style over the last 20 miles/30 km.

The average fuel consumption is calculated for

The average fuel consumption is calculated for  
the distance traveled since the last reset by the  
Onboard Computer.

When destination guidance is activated in  
the navigation system.  
Average speed  
Periods in which the vehicle is parked with the  
engine manually stopped are not included in  
the calculation of the average speed.

Selecting information  
Depending on the vehicle equipment version,  
you can select what information from the On‐  
board Computer is to be displayed on the Info  
Display of the instrument cluster.  
Using iDrive:

Distance to destination  
Depending on the vehicle equipment, the dis‐  
tance remaining to the destination is displayed  
if a destination is entered in the navigation sys‐  
tem before the trip is started.  
Settings are stored for the profile currently  
used.  
Indication in the Info Display  
The distance to the destination is adopted au‐  
tomatically.  
The information from the On‐  
board Computer is shown in the  
Info Display in the instrument  
cluster.  
Time of arrival  
Depending on the vehicle equip‐  
ment, the estimated time of ar‐  
rival is displayed if a destination  
is entered in the navigation sys‐  
tem before the trip is started.

Range  
Displays the estimated cruising range available  
with the remaining fuel.  
The time must be correctly set.

Concept  
On the Control Display, the current values for  
performance and torque can be displayed if  
the vehicle is appropriately equipped.  
The Onboard Computer displays different ve‐  
hicle data on the Control Display, such as aver‐  
age values.

The vehicle features two types of Onboard  
Computers.  
1. "Vehicle info"  
2. "Sport displays"  
"Onboard info": average values, such as  
the fuel consumption, are displayed. The  
values can be reset individually.  
Speed warning  
"Trip computer": the values deliver an  
overview of a certain distance and can be  
reset as often as necessary.  
Concept  
A speed limit can be set that when reached will  
cause a warning to be issued.

The warning is repeated if the vehicle speed  
exceeds the set speed limit again, after it has  
dropped below it by 3 mph/5 km/h.
