Depending on the vehicle's features and coun‐  
try-specific version, the gear shift indicator is  
active in the manual mode of the Steptronic  
transmission.  
Entering appointment dates  
Suggestions to shift gear up or down are dis‐  
played in the instrument cluster.  
Enter the dates for the mandatory vehicle in‐  
spections.  
On vehicles without a gear shift indicator, the  
engaged gear is displayed.  
Make sure that the vehicle's date and time are  
set correctly.

transmitted to your dealer’s service center be‐  
fore a service due date.  
Speed Limit Info shows the current maximum  
permitted speed in the instrument cluster.  
You can check when your dealer’s service cen‐  
ter was notified.

The camera in the area of the interior mirror  
detects traffic signs at the edge of the road as  
well as variable overhead sign posts. Traffic

with the vehicle's onboard data, such as from  
the rain sensor, and will be displayed depend‐

The system may not be fully functional and  
may provide incorrect information in the fol‐  
lowing situations:  
In heavy fog, wet conditions, or snowfall.  
When signs are fully or partially concealed  
by objects, stickers or paint.  
When driving very close to the vehicle in  
front of you.  
When driving toward bright lights or strong  
reflections.  
The camera is installed near the interior mirror.  
When the windshield in front of the interior  
mirror is fogged over, dirty or covered by a  
sticker, etc.  
Keep the windshield in front of the interior mir‐  
ror clean and clear.  
In the event of incorrect detection by the  
camera.
