strong sunlight), the Head-up  
display may be momentarily  
subject to interference.

ACTIVATION/DEACTIVATION  
To activate/deactivate the Head-up  
display: when you switch on the  
ignition, press on button 1  
Thefunctionstatus(activated/deac-  
tivated) when you stop the engine  
is retained when you restart.  
When emerging from a tunnel,  
there is a certain delay before  
the system can re-adapt the  
display brightness to the out-  
side conditions.  
Note: Certain types of spectacles  
may disperse the light coming from  
the Head-up display.  
ADJUSTMENTS OF  
THE HEAD-UP DISPLAY  
The Head-up display projects  
essential driving data into the  
driver's eld of vision. This enables  
the driver never to take his eyes  
off the road  
There is memorisation of  
driving positions as well  
as those for the Head-up  
display  
The adjustments you have made  
for the Head-up display are  
adopted alongside the driving posi-  
tion memorisations (see "Memori-  
sation"). They are:  
Height adjustment  
To adjust the height for the Head-up  
display, press on buttons 2 and 3  
It is recommended to adjust it as  
low as possible.  
Brightness adjustment  
The Head-up display has a bright-  
ness sensor so that the information  
can be seen to the best advantage,  
whatever the ambient brightness.

You can enhance the display  
brightness at any time by rotating  
the control 1  
The controls for the Head-up dis-  
play are located beneath the air  
vent on the driver's side.  
If the Head-up display cannot be  
seen, it is recommended to adjust  
it for height (buttons 2and 3)and to  
check that it is activated (button 1).

To restore display of a type  
of information:

Press button 4  
The windscreen of the vehicle  
guarantees that the Head-up  
display operates correctly.  
It is recommended that it be  
changed by a CITROËN dealer  
or a qualied workshop.  
Rotate the control to select the  
information you wish to restore,  
which ashes.  
Press button 1  
To be aware of the signicance of  
the information projected on the  
screen, see "Warning lamps".  
The information stops ashing: it  
will be displayed.  
No object must ever be placed  
in or over the cavity situated on  
top of the dashboard between  
the windscreen and the rear of  
the dashboard.  
To quit the selection mode, press  
button 4  
Note: when navigation is in opera-  
tion, direction arrows will ash. See  
the NaviDrive chapter.  
To clean the glass, use a  
abrasive cloth.

the vehicle is stationary.
