In the event of a breakdown  
After changing a wheel  
disappears after the lamps have been on for a  
few minutes.  
Light-emitting diode (LED)  
headlamps and lamps  
Depending on version, the affected types of  
headlamps / lamps are:  
– "DS MATRIX LED VISION" headlamps.  
– Offset daytime running lamps.  
– Direction indicator side repeaters.  
– Side spotlamps.  
– Full LED technology rear lamps.  
– Third brake lamp.  
The headlamps have polycarbonate  
lenses with a protective coating:  
Do not clean them with a dry or abrasive  
cloth, nor with detergent or solvent products.  
– Use a sponge and soapy water or a pH  
neutral product.  
– When using a high-pressure washer on  
persistent marks, do not keep the lance  
directed towards the headlamps, lamps or  
their edges for too long, so as not to damage  
their protective coating and seals.  
With a "space-saver" type spare wheel  
Deactivate certain driving aid functions  
(Active Safety Brake, Adaptive cruise control,  
etc.).  
Do not exceed the maximum authorised speed  
of 50 mph (80 km/h).  
– Number plate lamps.  
For the replacement of this type of bulb,  
you must contact a dealer or a qualified  
workshop.  
Do not touch the "Full LED" technology  
headlamps - risk of electrocution!  
Driving with more than one “space-saver” type  
spare wheel is prohibited.  
Changing a bulb must only be done with  
the ignition off and after the headlamp /  
lamp has been switched off for several  
minutes - risk of serious burns!  
Do not touch the bulb directly with your  
fingers; use a lint-free cloth.  
Visit a dealer or a qualified workshop as  
soon as possible to have the tightness of  
the bolts and the pressure of the spare wheel  
checked.  
Have the punctured tyre examined. After  
inspection, the technician will advise you on  
whether the tyre can be repaired or if it must  
be replaced.  
It is essential only to use anti-ultraviolet (UV)  
type bulbs, so as not to damage the headlamp.  
Always replace a failed bulb with a new bulb  
of the same type and specification. To avoid  
lighting imbalance, replace the bulbs in pairs.  
Changing a bulb  
In some weather conditions (e.g. low  
temperature or humidity), the presence of  
misting on the internal surface of the glass of  
the headlamps and rear lamps is normal; it

To refit, carry out the operations in  
reverse order to removal.  
Close the protective cover very carefully to  
guarantee the sealing of the lamps.

►ꢀ Remove the protective cover by pulling on the  
tab.

module).

►ꢀ Disconnect the bulb connector.  
►ꢀ Remove the bulb and change it.  
To refit, carry out these operations in reverse  
order, directing the bulb’s positioning lug  
downwards.  
Opening the bonnet / Accessing the bulbs  
With the engine warm, proceed with  
caution - risk of burns!  
Take care with objects or clothing that could  
be caught in the blades of the cooling fan - risk  
of strangulation!  
Direction indicators  
Rapid flashing of a direction indicator  
lamp (left or right) indicates that one of  
the bulbs on the corresponding side has failed.  
Halogen bulbs (Hx)  
To ensure good quality lighting, check  
that the bulb is correctly positioned in its  
housing.

►ꢀ Open the boot.

Model with halogen lamps  
►ꢀ Remove the access flap on the corresponding  
side trim, so that the lamp unit fixing screw can  
be accessed.  
►ꢀ Slacken the lamp unit fixing using a socket  
wrench.  
►ꢀ Turn the connector a quarter turn  
anti-clockwise.  
►ꢀ Pull the bulb connector.  
►ꢀ Remove the bulb and change it.  
►ꢀ Finish slackening it by hand to recover the nut,  
making sure not to let it drop.  
►ꢀ Remove the lamp unit.  
Amber-coloured bulbs must be replaced  
by bulbs with identical specifications and  
colour.  
1. Brake lamps/sidelamps (W21/5W)  
2. Direction indicators (WY16W amber)  
3. Reversing lamps (W16W)  
►ꢀ Unclip the lamp unit connector.  
Rear lamps  
Direction indicators and brake lamps/

In the event of a breakdown  
Engage the lamp unit in its guides while  
keeping it in line with the vehicle.  
Tighten sufficiently to ensure sealing, but  
without damaging the lamp unit.  
Reversing lamps (tailgate)  
►ꢀ Open the tailgate.  
1. Brake lamps/Sidelamps  
2. Direction indicators  
►ꢀ Turn the bulb holder a quarter turn to the left  
and pull it out.  
Once the lamp unit is disconnected and released,  
remove the lamp unit so that the bulbs can be  
changed:  
►ꢀ Replace the bulb.  
Foglamp (P21W)  
►ꢀ Remove the access cover and undo the two  
lamp unit fixing nuts using a socket wrench.  
►ꢀ Squeeze and pull the connector to remove it.  
Once the lamp unit is disconnected and released,  
remove the lamp unit so that the bulbs can be  
changed:  
►ꢀ Turn the bulb holder a quarter turn to the left  
and pull it out.  
For access, pass your hand under the bumper on  
the left-hand side.  
►ꢀ Pull the bulb out and replace it.  
►ꢀ Turn the bulb holder a quarter turn to the left  
and pull it out.  
►ꢀ Turn the bulb a quarter turn to the left and pull  
it out.
