SYSTEM DEACTIVATION
The system is deactivated under the
following conditions:
(where provided)
when the Traffic Sign Recognition
system is deactivated;
when the Speed Limiter system is
deactivated;
when the Traffic Sign Recognition
system shows a new speed limit;
when the Traffic Sign Recognition
system shows the end of the speed
limit;
The driver can accept the new limit
pressing the button (1) fig. 140 within
the first 5 seconds of the new road sign
appearing to set the new system speed
limit to the speed suggested by the
sign.
This is an auxiliary driving assistance
system that detects when the driver is
tired.
Activation / deactivation
The system can be
activated/deactivated using the
"Settings" menu of the Uconnect™
or Uconnect 7" HD system and then
selecting "Safety/Driving Assistance"
and finally "Driver Attention Assist".
The AAD system settings are
reactivated each time the engine is
started.
Activation is indicated by the symbol
on the display (e.g. in the case of
a 30 km/h speed limit) and the green
circle around the road sign indicating
the speed limit.

EXCEEDING THE
PROGRAMMED SPEED
By fully depressing the accelerator
pedal, the programmed speed can be
exceeded even with the system active
(e.g. in the event of overtaking).
