PARKING BRAKE

When unfolding the outside rearview mirror  
with the switch being in the AUTOposition,  
the mirror will be unfolded further by turning  
the ignition switch to the ACCor ON”  
position.

Never drive the vehicle with the parking  
brake applied. The brake will overheat and  
fail to operate and will lead to an accident.  
Never release the parking brake from out-  
side the vehicle. If the vehicle moves, it will  
be impossible to push the foot brake pedal  
and will lead to an accident.  
To return its original position, fold the out-  
side rearview mirror once.  
The outside rearview mirror remote control operates  
when the ignition switch is in the “ACC” or “ON”  
position.

Never use the shift lever in place of the  
parking brake. When parking, be sure the  
parking brake is fully applied.
