Running Lights - DRL) are activated automati-  
cally when the car is driven in daylight. A light  
sensor on the top of the instrument panel  
changes from daytime running lights to dipped  
beam at twilight or when daylight becomes too  
weak. Switching to dipped beam also takes place  
when the rear fog lamps are activated.  
When it is dark outside and the tailgate is  
opened the rear position lamps illuminate to alert  
traffic behind. This takes place irrespective of  
what position the knob is in or what key position  
the car's electrical system is in.  
When driving for more than 30 seconds at max.  
10 km/h (approx. 6 mph), or if the speed  
exceeds 10 km/h (approx. 6 mph), the daytime
