Multi-Function Steering Wheel Control
In addition to the horn and driver’s airbag,
the multi-function steering wheel
accommodates two keypads to control the
following functions:
• Cruise control system.
• Adaptive Cruise Control.
• Infotainment subfunctions.
• Menu selection for the Display Unit in
Instrument Cluster Y24.
• Voice input activation.

Display Unit in Instrum ent Cluster Y24
Some Phaetons are also equipped with a
Display Unit in Instrument Cluster Y24 with
a 5-inch (127 mm) color display. This display
can show seven different menus for the
various Infotainment functions.
A menu is selected using the multi-function
steering wheel controls. Then the desired
function can be selected from the displayed
menu list.
The display in the Front Information Display
Control Head J523 on the center console is
not affected by this selection.
