Adjusting Headlights
Changing Wiper Blades
The headlights must be locked in place in
the “basic setting” function with the
Vehicle Diagnosis, Test and Information
System VAS 5051 prior to adjustment.
To change the wiper blades, they must
first be moved into the service position
using the “Maintenance & Service”
function on the Front Information
Display Control Head J523.
Mechanical access to the headlight
adjustment is opened using the Front
Information Display Control Head J523.
Repair Manual steps must be
followed exactly to set up the
wiper blades in the service
position. Please follow the Repair
Manual instructions carefully.
