Switching on the Auto Hold function

If the Auto Hold function has been switched on before switching the ignition off, the function remains switched on
when the ignition is switched on the next time.
Keeping the vehicle stationary with the Auto Hold function
1. Make sure that the Auto Hold function is switched on.
2. Bring the vehicle to a standstill using the brake (→ Parking).
3. Manual gearbox: Either keep the clutchfully depressed or shift to neutral.
4. Release the brake.

in the instrument cluster lights up green when the Auto Hold function is activeV. ehicles
with an analogue instrument cluster: The green indicator lamp lights up.
The hold function stops if the vehicle is driven off or if the prerequisites for the Auto Hold function are not met.
