Proceed as follows:
❒ insert the cap (with the key) and turn it clockwise
The devices for curtailing petrol engine emissions are
the following:
until it clicks once or more;
❒ turn the key clockwise and remove it. Close the
❒ three-way catalytic converter;
❒ Lambda sensor;
flap.
❒ fuel evaporation system.
In addition, do not let the engine run, even for a test,
with one or more spark plugs disconnected.
The devices for curtailing diesel fuel engine emissions
are the following:
❒ oxidising catalytic converter;
❒ exhaust gas recirculation system (E.G.R.).
During operation of the catalytic converter it releases high temperatures.
Therefore, do not park the car over inflammable material (grass, dry leaves, pine
needles, etc.): fire danger.
