with the engine automatically stopped

Condition of ISG system
operation
The ISG system will operate under the
following condition:
śꢀ The driver’s seatbelt is fastened
śꢀ The driver’s door and bonnet are
closed
śꢀ The brake vacuum pressure is
adequate
śꢀ The battery sensor is activated and the
battery is sufficiently charged
śꢀ Outside temperature is not too low or
too high
śꢀ The vehicle is driven over a constant
speed and stops
śꢀ The climate control system satisfies
the conditions
śꢀ The vehicle is sufficiently warmed up
śꢀ The vehicle is not on a steep road
grade (Except Manual Transmission)
śꢀ The steering wheel is not at a sharp
angle
śꢀ The vehicle is not at a high elevation
śꢀ The front windscreen defroster is off
śꢀ You have not selected Manual shift
mode (Except Manual Transmission)
śꢀ When sufficient time has elapsed after
shifting to R (Reverse) was released
śꢀ Your vehicle is moving after standstill.
śꢀ You press the accelerator and the
brake pedal at the same time. (Except
Manual Transmission)
śꢀ The driver safety belt becomes
unfastened or the driver door is
ajar (Except Manual Transmission)
conditions.
The green AUTO STOP indicator (

on the instrument cluster will blink for 5
seconds.
