The SPORT mode manages
)XHOꢀHIILFLHQF\ꢀGHSHQGVꢀRQꢀWKHꢀGULYHU¶Vꢀ
GULYLQJꢀKDELWꢀDQGꢀURDGꢀFRQGLWLRQꢂ
the driving dynamics by
automatically adjusting the
steering effort, the engine
and transmission control
logic for enhanced driving
performance.
When ECO mode is activated:
śꢀ The acceleration response may be
slightly reduced as the accelerator
pedal is depressed moderately.
śꢀ The air conditioner performance may
be limited.
śꢀ The shift pattern of the automatic
transmission may change.
śꢀ The engine noise may get louder.
śꢀ When the SPORT mode is selected by
pressing the DRIVE MODE button, the
SPORT indicator will illuminate.
śꢀ Whenever the engine is restarted, the
Drive Mode will revert back to the
COMFORT mode. If the SPORT mode
is desired, re-select the SPORT mode
from the DRIVE MODE button.
śꢀ If the vehicle is equipped with
intelligent manual transmission,
whenever the engine is restarted, the
Drive Mode will change to the ECO
mode.
śꢀ When the ignition is turned on, Drive
Mode is set to the ECO mode by
default. (for 48 MHEV)
The above situations are normal
conditions when the ECO mode is
activated, to improve fuel efficiency.
Limitation of ECO mode operation:
If the following conditions occur whilst
the ECO mode is operating, the system
operation is limited even though there is
no change in ECO indicator.
śꢀ When driving the vehicle with the
Dual clutch transmission/Intelligent
manual transmission gear shift lever in
sport mode, the system will be limited
according to the shift location.
śꢀ When the SPORT mode is activated:
- The engine RPM will tend to remain
raised over a certain length of time
even after releasing the accelerator
- Upshifts are delayed when
accelerating
