Bonnet
CAUTION
To avoid serious injury or death, always
take care when closing the bonnet to en-
sure that no parts of persons or property
obstruct the bonnet as it is closing.
To open the bonnet:
1. Pull the bonnet lock release lever. The
bonnet will spring up slightly.
CAUTION
Before driving, be sure that the bonnet is
closed and securely locked. Otherwise,
the bonnet may open unexpectedly while
driving and an accident may occur.
2. In front of the vehicle, pull up the aux-
iliary catch lever and lift the bonnet.
Before closing the bonnet, check to see that
you have not forgotten any tools, rags, etc.
Then lower the bonnet and make sure it locks
into place. If necessary, press down gently on
the front edge to lock it.
