Heating* of the steering wheel  
The steering wheel can be heated with elec-  
tric heating.  
Light switches  
The headlamp control activates and adjusts  
the external lighting. It is also used to adjust  
display and instrument lighting and ambience  
lights (p. 101).

Repeatedly press the button to switch  
between the following functions:

Cars with active Xenon headlamps* have  
automatic headlamp levelling and are there-  
fore not equipped with the thumbwheel.

The load in the car changes the vertical align-  
ment of the headlamp beam, which could  
dazzle oncoming motorists. Avoid this by  
adjusting the height of the beam. Lower the  
beam if the car is heavily laden.

determine when daylight is too weak or

tions.
