Switching off the lights  
The rear lamps are not included in the  
daytime running lamps. A vehicle without its  
rear lamps on cannot be seen by other road  
users in the event of darkness, precipitation  
or poor visibility.

sufficiently marked with the appropriate lights  
and other road users do not see it or see it  
only with difficulty, this can lead to accidents  
and serious injuries.  
Switch off the ignition.  
Operate the light bursts for approx. 1 second.  
The "Coming Home" lighting is switched on  
when the driver's door is opened. The light  
switch-off delay starts when the last door of  
the vehicle, including the tailgate, is closed.  
Always park the vehicle securely and with  
the appropriate lights on. Observe the  
relevant legal regulations.  
If the vehicle needs to be illuminated for  
several hours, switch on the right or left-  
hand parking lamp if possible. The time that  
the parking lamp on one side of the vehicle  
can remain on is generally twice as long as  
the parking lamp on the other side of the  
vehicle.
