Headlamps
L i g h t range adjustment

Problems and solutions
Turn signals
The left or right indicator is on. If one of the
vehicle's or trailer's direction indicators →
page 278 does not work, the indicator light
flashes twice as fast as normal. Check the
vehicle and trailer lighting → page 278.
Modify headlamp aiming (travel
mode)
If you travel to countries where you drive in the
opposite direction to your home country, the
asymmetrical dipped beam may dazzle
oncoming traffic. It is therefore necessary to
change the headlamp alignment when
travelling in one of these countries.
Lighting
There is a total or partial failure in the
vehicle lighting. Replace the relevant bulb
→ p. 295. OR: There is a fault in the
vehicle's lighting system. If all the bulbs
are working, contact a specialist
