The cigarette lighter should not be used

To close, push the lid down until the lock

latches.

The cigarette lighter operates when the igni-

tion switch is in the “ACC” or “ON” position.

SUNGLASSES HOLDER

To heat the cigarette lighter, push in until it

latches. When the lighter is heated, it will spring

out automatically.

Open the glove box by pulling the handle.

Return the cigarette lighter to its original

position after use.

and to help prevent an accident.

working in high temperature, the cooling

function will not work even if the cup holder

glasses holder while parking in direct

sunlight. The heat may damage the

sunglasses.

When the cooling function is not necessary, pull

up the center partition, align the mark with

To open the sunglasses holder, push and

release. Only store one pair of sunglasses in

the holder.

When the cooling or warming function is not

necessary, close the cup holder ventilator by

pushing the knob down

The driver must not remove or insert cups

into the cup holder while driving so that full

attention may be given to vehicle operation.

CAUTION:

Avoid abrupt starting and braking especially

Do not apply a total load of more than 10

kg (22 lb) to a single hook.

LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT (if equipped)

You can use the luggage compartment in

diverse ways using the flexible luggage board.

Do not put objects heavier than 75 kg (165

lbs) on the load floor while in the mid

position. In the upper position, objects hea-

vier than 14 kg (30 lbs) should not be placed

on the load floor.

Do not apply any load directly to the roof side

rails. Cross bars must be installed before

applying load/cargo/luggage to the roof of

the vehicle. Genuine NISSAN accessory cross

bars are available through a NISSAN dealer. It is

recommended that you visit a NISSAN dealer

for additional information.

The child restraint top tether strap may

be damaged by contact with the tonneau

cover or items in the luggage area.

Remove the tonneau cover from the

vehicle or secure it in the luggage area.

Also secure any items in the luggage

area. Your child could be seriously injured

or killed in a collision if the top tether

strap is damaged.

The service load capacity for the roof side rails

is 100 kg (221 lb), however do not exceed the

accessory cross bars load capacity.

WARNING:

Always install the cross bars onto the

roof side rails before loading cargo of any

kind. Loading cargo directly onto the roof

side rails or the vehicle’s roof may cause

vehicle damage.

Drive extra carefully when the vehicle is

loaded at or near the cargo carrying

capacity, especially if the significant por-

tion of that load is carried on the cross

bars.

Heavy loading of the cross bars has the

potential to affect the vehicle stability

and handling during sudden or unusual

handling maneuvers.
