51. Not available Front radar obstructed
warning (if equipped)
54. Not available warning (if equipped)
59. Exhaust filter maintenance warning
(if equipped)
This message appears when the Intelligent
Lane Intervention system becomes unavailable
because the VDC/ESP is turned off. For more
details, “Intelligent Lane Intervention” (P.5-44).
This message appears when the Intelligent
Cruise Control (ICC) system or Intelligent Emer-
gency Braking system becomes unavailable
because the front radar is obstructed. For more
details, see “Intelligent Cruise Control (ICC)” (P.5-
64), “Intelligent Emergency Braking” (P.5-78) or
“Intelligent Emergency Braking with pedestrian
detection system” (P.5-83).
If your vehicle is fitted with a gasoline engine,
your vehicle may also be fitted with a Gasoline
Particulate Filter (GPF). Under certain less-
favorable driving conditions, the GPF may
become saturated or clogged because these
driving conditions prevent automatic regen-
eration of the filter. In this case, a warning
message will be displayed in the vehicle in-
formation display. For additional details, see
“Gasoline Particulate Filter (GPF)” (P.5-9).
55. Not available High cabin tempera-
ture warning (if equipped)
This message appears when the camera de-
tects an interior temperature of more than
approximately 40°C (104°F). For more details,
see “Traffic Sign Recognition” (P.2-41), “Lane
Departure Warning (LDW)” (P.5-40) or “Intelli-
gent Lane Intervention” (P.5-44).
52. Not available Side radar obstructed
warning (if equipped)
60. Press brake to operate switch
warning (if equipped)
This message appears when the Blind Spot
Warning (BSW)/Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA)
system becomes unavailable because a radar
blockage is detected. For more details, see
“Blind Spot Warning (BSW)” (P.5-49) or “Rear
Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA)” (P.5-55).
56. AdBlue status (if equipped)
This warning appears if the automatic brake
hold switch is pushed without depressing the
brake pedal while the automatic brake hold
function is activated. Depress the brake pedal
and push the switch to deactivate the auto-
matic brake hold function. For more details, see
“Automatic brake hold” (P.3-42).
This indicator appears if there are no system
malfunctions present in the AdBlue® Selective
Catalytic Reduction (SCR) system. See “AdBlue®
status” (P.5-6).
53. Not available Poor Road Conditions
warning (if equipped)
57. AdBlue warning (if equipped)
This warning appears when the AdBlue® level in
the tank is getting low or there is a malfunction
in the AdBlue® Selective Catalytic Reduction
(SCR) system. See “AdBlue® warning display”
(P.5-6).
This warning appears when the Intelligent Lane
Intervention system or Intelligent Cruise Con-
trol (ICC) system is temporarily not available
when the system detects that road conditions
may not be suitable for the system. The
Intelligent Lane Intervention system/ICC sys-
tem will also turn off. For more details, “In-
telligent Lane Intervention” (P.5-44) or
“Intelligent Cruise Control (ICC)” (P.5-64).
61. Caution Steep slope indicator (if equipped)
This indicator appears when the automatic
brake hold function is activated while the
vehicle is on a steep hill.
58. Exhaust filter full warning (if equipped)
62. Steep Slope Apply foot brake in-
dicator (if equipped)
If your vehicle is fitted with a diesel engine, your
vehicle may also be fitted with a Diesel Parti-
culate Filter (DPF). Under certain less-favorable
driving conditions, the DPF may become satu-
rated or clogged because these driving condi-
tions prevent automatic regeneration of the
filter. In this case, a warning message will be
displayed in the vehicle information display. For
additional details, see “Diesel Particulate Filter
(DPF)” (P.5-8).
This indicator appears if “Caution steep slope”
indicator has appeared over about 3 minutes.
Then, the electronic parking brake will auto-
matically be applied and the brake force of the
automatic brake hold will be released, and
vehicle may move or roll away unexpectedly.
Apply the foot brake to stop the vehicle
moving.
