Driver’s seat belt reminder
and, depending on the vehi-
cle, front passenger seat belt re-
minder
Always make sure that the rear passen-
gers are properly fastened in and that
the number of seat belts indicated cor-
responds to the number of rear seats
occupied.

It illuminates on the interior mirror or,
depending on the vehicle, on the cen-
tral display when the engine is started
and if the driver or front passenger seat
belt is not fastened (when the seat is
occupied). If one of these seat belts is
not fastened while the vehicle is moving
at a speed over 12 mph (20 km/h), the
warning flashes and an audible warning
sounds during 120 seconds.
Note: an object placed on one of the
front seat bases may activate the warn-
ing light in some cases.

warning light flashes and an audible
warning sounds for approximately 30
or 120 seconds (depending on the ve-
hicle).
