If a remote control or key is re-  
placed, it will be necessary to  
take the vehicle and all of its re-  
mote control keys to an autho-  
rised dealer to reset them.  
You may use up to four remote  
control keys per vehicle.

battery type is being used, and  
that the battery is in good condi-  
tion and inserted correctly. These  
batteries should have a service  
life of approximately two years.

Press and hold button 3 . The luggage  
compartment opens slightly and, de-  
pending on the vehicle, the luggage  
compartment door fully opens by itself.

that the doors have locked.

If any opening element (door or tail-  
gate) is open or incorrectly shut, lock-  
ing is unsuccessful and the hazard  
warning lights and side repeaters do  
not flash.  
Operating faults  
If the battery is too weak to ensure cor-  
rect operation, you will still be able to  
start and lock/unlock the vehicle 49.

Replacing the battery  
The batteries are available  
from approved Dealers,  
and their service life ap-  
proximately two years.

Check that there is no dye on the  
battery: risk of an incorrect electri-  
cal contact.  
When they need to be  
replaced, be sure to use  
the same or equivalent  
type of battery (consult  
an Approved Dealer).  
Open the case at slot 1 using a flat-  
blade screwdriver or similar tool and  
replace the battery 2 observing the  
type and polarity shown on the back of  
the cover.  
When replacing:  
make sure that the  
batteries are correctly in-  
serted.  
Risk of explosion.  
Ensure that the cover is correctly  
clipped on and the screw tightened.  
– if the flap does not close cor-  
rectly, do not use and keep out of  
reach of children.  
Note: it is not advisable to touch the  
electronic circuit in the key cover when  
replacing the battery.

Do not throw away your  
used batteries as rubbish.  
Take them to an approved
