Exterior lighting and signals

If fitted on the vehicle, the daytime run-  
ning lights come on automatically with

is started, and they go off once the en-  
gine is switched off.  
Always make sure the  
windscreen is not obscured  
(dirt, mud, snow, condensa-  
tion, etc.).  
This indicator light on the instrument

Note: depending on the vehicle, the  
side lights can only be activated manu-  
ally when the parking brake is applied  
or, depending on the vehicle, when the  
gear lever is in the P position.  
Special feature:  
The daytime running light will go out  
automatically when the indicator light

mately 25 mph (40 km/h).
