STEERING  
Activating the function  
For safety reasons, only  
adjust the steering wheel  
when the vehicle is sta-  
tionary.

nition on, you can activate the heated

Deactivating the function  
- Automatically:  
Steering wheel heating  
The function switches off automatically  
after the regulation phase of approxi-  
mately 30 minutes.

- Manually:  
Depending on the vehicle, with the ig-  
nition on, you can deactivate the heat-  
ed steering wheel via the multimedia  
screen 3:  
Power-assisted steering  
Never drive with an inadequately  
charged 12V battery.  
Depending on the vehicle, the steering  
wheel height and depth are adjustable.  
Special case  
Push the lever 1 downwards and set  
the steering wheel to the desired posi-  
tion, then raise the lever to lock the  
steering wheel.

charged battery, etc.), a reset of the

Special feature of the Stop and Start  
With the engine on standby, power-as-  
sisted steering is no longer opera-  
tional. It returns to its original state  
when the engine is restarted or as  
soon as the speed is above 0.62 mph  
(1 km/h) (hill, slope, etc.).  
Never switch off the igni-  
tion when travelling  
downhill, and avoid do-  
ing so in normal driving  
(power steering and brake servo  
will not function).
