AIR CLEANER  
Filter replacement  
Type A  
2. Remove the used filter and wipe the  
inside of the air cleaner housing to  
remove dust in cover housing.  
3. Replace the new filter with clean  
hands and ensure the rubber gasket  
is not taken off.  
4. Reassemble in the reverse order of  
removal.

The air cleaner filter can be cleaned for  
inspection using compressed air.  
Do not attempt to wash or to rinse it, as  
water will damage the filter.  
If soiled, the air cleaner filter must be  
replaced.

5. The protrusions in the filter should  
be mounted either on the left or right  
side of the air cleaner upper side. If  
incorrectly installed to the bottom  
side, it may be difficult to assemble.

1. Remove the cleaner cover by open-  
ing the clips.

2. Open the air cleaner filter cover by  
lifting the lock(2) in the direction of  
the arrow.  
The air cleaner filter can be cleaned for  
inspection using compressed air. Do  
not attempt to wash or to rinse it, as wa-  
ter will damage the filter. If soiled, the  
air cleaner filter must be replaced.

3. Pull down the lever to the “UNLOCK”  
position.

4. Remove the used filter and wipe the  
inside of the air cleaner housing to  
remove dust in cover housing.  
1. Push the open button in the direction  
of the arrow (1).  
5. Replace the new filter with clean  
hands and ensure the rubber gasket  
is not taken off.
