RUNNING IN
For the first 620 miles (1,000 km) do
not exceed 80 mph (130 km/h) in the
highest gear, or 3,000 to 3,500 rpm.
You can only expect top perfor-
mance from your vehicle after ap-
proximately 1,860 miles (3,000 km).
Note: for a new vehicle in the run-
ning-in phase: the coolant level may
be higher than the "MAXI" mark on
the tank, then drop to between the
"MINI" and "MAXI" marks. This does
not present a risk.
