Getting to know your vehicle -> Rear seats for Your Renault Symbioz 4 Door First Generation (2024-2026)

REAR SEATS  
To refit the headrest  
Rear headrests  
Position for use  
Enter the rods in their housing and  
push down the headrest until it locks  
to use it in the high position.

The side headrests are not ad-  
justable.  
Check that it is correctly locked.  
Central headrest storage posi-  
tion 2  
Raise the central headrest fully until  
it locks.  
Check that it is correctly locked.  
To remove the headrest  
When the headrest is set at the low-  
est position, this is for storage only:  
it should not be in this position when  
the seat is occupied.  
The headrest is a safe-  
ty component; check  
that it is fitted and in  
the correct position.  
Press button 1 and lower the head-  
rest completely.  
Raise the headrest as far as it will go,  
then press button 1 and remove the  
headrest.

system. You may experience resis-  
tance when handling.  
To move a seat forwards or  
backwards  
Rear bench seat: functions  
To replace the seatback, proceed in  
the reverse order to removal.

Raise the seatback again until it  
reaches the locking joint of the seat-  
back.  
Be careful not to jam the safety  
strap between the backrest and the  
parcel shelf.  
Check the operation of the seat belt.  
Before moving the seat-  
back, put seat belt in belt  
guide A to avoid damag-  
ing it.  
To fold down the seatback  
Raise the lever 2 from the rear seats  
to unlock the bench seat.  
Ensure that the front seats are far  
enough forward.  
Before folding down a seatback:  
lower the headrests fully;  
place the seat belt in the belt  
guide A and buckle the seat belt.  
This prevents the seat belt from  
locking when the seatback is lifted  
up again.  
Pull the handle 1 and lower the seat-  
back B .  
Note: for safety reasons, the seat-  
back B is equipped with a retaining  
Move the seat forwards or back to  
the required position.  
Release the lever 2 and ensure that  
the bench seat is properly locked.  
When refitting the  
seatback, make sure it  
is correctly locked in  
place.  
If seat covers are fitted, make  
sure these do not prevent the  
seatback latch from locking in.  
Make sure that the seat belts  
are positioned correctly.  
Reposition the headrests.  
For safety reasons, car-  
ry out any adjustments  
while the vehicle is sta-  
tionary.

When moving the rear  
seats, ensure that  
nothing obstructs the  
anchorage points

(passenger's arm or leg, a pet,  
gravel, cloth, toys, etc.).
