Removing and installing trailer detector
control unit
Note
♦ Trailer detector control unit -J345- is installed beneath dash
panel.
♦ In towing mode, the start/stop system is switched off.
Removing:
– Switch off ignition and all electrical consumers, and withdraw
ignition key.
– Unclip dash panel trim below steering column.
– Remove securing bolts -1-.
– Guide trailer detector control unit -1- out of bracket.
– Release and disconnect connectors on control unit.
Installing:
Installation is carried out in the reverse sequence of removal.
