– Unclip net partition mounting -1- from moulded headliner,

and remove it.

Install in reverse order of removal.

– Remove rear moulded headliner ⇒ Rep. gr. 70 ; Removing

– Unscrew bolts -1-, and remove bracket for net partition -2-.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

Removing and installing sun visor

Special tools and workshop equipment required

♦ pliers - T10558A-

Removal and installation are described for left side of vehicle as

an example.

Removing

– Swing sun visor towards front.

– Remove illuminated vanity mirror ⇒ Electrical system; Rep.

gr. 96 ; Lights, vehicles without glass roof; Removing and

installing rear illuminated vanity mirror [W49]/[W50] .

– Detach sun visor -2- on centre mount -1- and fold it aside.

– Lever off caps -3- using a small commercially available

screwdriver.

– Position pliers - T10558A- centrally in retaining clips -3-.

– Detach foremost (when seen in direction of travel) retaining

clip -3- in sun visor bracket -1- using pliers - T10558A- .

– To prevent front retaining clip -3- from engaging, pull sun

visor -2- lightly downwards.

– Detach rearmost (when seen in direction of travel) retaining

clip -3- in sun visor bracket -1- using pliers - T10558A- .

– Pull sun visor -2- downwards.

NOTICE

Risk of damage to electrical wiring by pulling too forcefully.

– Carefully pull electrical wiring out of opening.

– Disconnect electrical connector.

– Remove clamping plate.

– Remove sun visor.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

– Wrap electrical connector with one layer of foam tape.

– Reach with a finger into recess of vanity mirror light and pull

moulded headliner down slightly.

– Position electrical connector between moulded headliner

and roof cross member.

– Engage foremost (when seen in direction of travel) retaining

clip.

– Engage rearmost (when seen in direction of travel) retaining

clip.

– Ensure that both retaining clips are properly engaged.

Removing and installing sun visor cen‐

tre mount

Removal and installation are described for left side of vehicle as

Removing

– Detach sun visor and fold it aside.

– Turn centre mount -1- in direction of -arrow-.

– Remove centre mount -1- downwards.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal.

Removing

– Fold roof grab handle -1- downwards, and hold it there.

– Unclip caps -2- using hook - 3438- .

– Fold grab handle -1- downwards again, and hold it there.

– Press release tool - T10518A- -2- into retaining clips -3-, and

release retaining clips one after the other.

– Detach roof grab handle -1-.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

– Position grab handle properly, and push it into grab handle

bracket until it can be heard to engage.

– Unscrew bolt -2-.

– Unhook grab handle bracket -1-, a^ln^kd remove it.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

Removing and installing multifunction table

NOTICE

Risk of damage to multifunction table if locking levers are

actuated in wrong position.

– Do not set down multifunction table on top cover and oper‐

ate locking lever like that.

Removal and installation of the multifunction table are descri‐
