Multivan 2025 ➤ , Multivan 2022 ➤  
General body repairs, interior - Edition 09.2024  
– Unscrew bolt -2-.  
– Unhook grab handle bracket -1-, alnkd remove it.  
Installing  
Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:  
Tightening torques  
♦ ⇒ Rep. gr. 70 ; Assembly overview – B-pillar trim

Removing and installing multifunction table  
NOTICE  
Risk of damage to multifunction table if locking levers are  
actuated in wrong position.  
– Do not set down multifunction table on top cover and oper‐  
ate locking lever like that.  
Removal and installation of the multifunction table are descri‐  
bed in the ⇒ owner's manual .

Removing and installing table top  
Special tools and workshop equipment required  
♦ Drill, commercially available  
♦ Suitable drill bit 8 mm, commercially available  
Removing  
– Remove multifunction table ⇒ Rep. gr. 68 ; Removing and  
installing multifunction table .  
3. Equipment

Multivan 2025 ➤ , Multivan 2022 ➤  
General body repairs, interior - Edition 09.2024  
– Move table top -1- halfway upwards.  
– Insert suitable plate between yoke and pillar.  
CAUTION  
Risk of injury caused by flying metal shavings.  
Eyes and skin can suffer irritation or injuries.  
– Put on safety goggles.  
– Put on protective gloves.  
NOTICE  
Risk of damage to lifting mechanism and multifunction table  
– Do not drill hole too deep.  
– Drill open spot -3- in trim -4- using a commercially available  
power drill.  
Important

The diameter must be 8 mm.  
The depth must not exceed 7 mm.  
Note  
Locking mechanism of table top is irreparably damaged in the  
process.  
– Pull out head table top -1- upwards.  
Installing  
Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:  
– Insert new table top into guide from above.  
– Support yoke using suitable workshop means.  
– Table top must audibly engage in bracket.

Removing and installing front trim

♦ removal wedge set - VAS 895 015-  
Removing  
– Remove multifunction table ⇒ Rep. gr. 68 ; Removing and  
installing multifunction table .

– Unclip front trim -1- using removal wedge from removal  
wedge set - VAS 895 015- .  
– Operate locking lever -2-, and remove front trim -1-.  
Installing  
Install in reverse order of removal.

♦ removal wedge set - VAS 895 015-  
Removing  
– Remove multifunction table ⇒ Rep. gr. 68 ; Removing and  
installing multifunction table .  
lk  
– Unscrew bolts -arrows-.  
– Unclip rear trim -1- using removal wedge from removal  
wedge set - VAS 895 015- , and remove it.  
Installing  
Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:  
Tightening torques

Removing and installing side trim

♦ removal wedge set - VAS 895 015-  
Removing  
– Remove front trim ⇒ Rep. gr. 68 ; Removing and installing  
front trim .  
– Remove rear trim ⇒ Rep. gr. 68 ; Removing and installing  
rear trim .

– Open front storage compartment -2-.  
– Unscrew bolt -arrow-.  
– Unclip side trim -1- using removal wedge from removal  
wedge set - VAS 895 015- , and remove it in direction of  
-arrow-.  
Installing  
Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:  
Tightening torques  
♦ ⇒ Rep. gr. 68 ; Assembly overview - multifunction table

moval wedge set - VAS 895 015- , and remove it.  
Installing  
Install in reverse order of removal.

– Unscrew bolts -2-.

– Pull off spacer -1-.

– Unhook spring elements -arrows- from mountings, and re‐  
move them.  
Installing  
Install in reverse order of removal.
