STEERING  
Activating the function  
With the ignition on, press the button  
5 on the multimedia screen 2 .  
For safety reasons, on-  
ly adjust the steering  
wheel when the vehicle  
is stationary.

Lower the lever 1 and set the steer-

approximately 30 minutes.

Manually:

the regulation phase, press the but-  
ton 5 on the multimedia screen 2 .  
Operating principle  
When the temperature is reached,  
the function regulates the tempera-  
ture of the heated areas for approxi-  
mately 30 minutes and then switch-  
es off automatically.  
Note: the function can also be ac-  
cessed using the 3 "Favourites" but-  
ton on the steering wheel 4 .

STEERING  
Steering is made easier during park-  
ing manoeuvres (for added comfort)  
while the force needed to steer in-  
creases progressively as the speed  
rises (for enhanced safety at high  
speeds).  
"Favourites" function

Never switch off the ig-  
nition when travelling  
downhill, and avoid do-  
ing so in normal driving  
(power steering and brake ser-  
vo will not function).  
Depending on the vehicle, by press-  
ing the steering wheel control 6 you  
can activate the heated steering  
wheel according to the stored use  
settings that you have previously  
defined.  
For more information on program-  
ming this function, please refer to  
the multimedia instructions.  
Never leave the steering  
wheel on full lock when  
the vehicle is stationary.  
With the engine switched off, or  
if there is a system fault, it is still  
possible to turn the steering  
wheel. The force required will be  
greater.  
A noise may be heard when the  
steering wheel is moved quickly.  
This is normal.  
Power-assisted steering  
The variable power-assisted steer-  
ing system is equipped with an elec-  
tronic control system which alters  
the level of assistance to suit the ve-  
hicle speed.
