—Check that the gas hose is screwed securely onto the pressure regulator and onto the transition piece to the gas
pipe. Make sure that the connections are airtight.

—Connect the pressure regulator→ Fig. 1
with the union nut→ Fig. 1
to the cylinder safety valve by turning
it anti-clockwise.
—Check that the pressure regulator is properly screwed on to the cylinder safety valve and that the connection is
airtight.
—Make sure that the gas hose is positioned without impediment and that it is not pinched or damaged at any point.
Changing the gas cylinder
—First read the section on “Preparing to connect the gas cylinder” and follow the instructions carefully.

is completely closed. This prevents gas from escaping

accidentally when the union nut → Fig. 1
is loosened.
—Completely unscrew the union nut of the pressure regulator from the cylinder safety valve by turning it clockwise.
—Loosen the securing strap.
—Remove the gas cylinder.
—Connect a new gas cylinder → Connecting a gas cylinder.
DANGER
Leaking gas can cause an explosion.
● If you smell gas while connecting the gas cylinder, take the following actions immediately:
● Ensure there is no source of fire, spark or open flame in the vicinity.
● Close the safety valve on the gas cylinder.
● Open doors and windows to air out the vehicle.
● If the source of the gas smell cannot be eliminated, do not connect the gas cylinder. Have the gas system
checked by a qualified workshop.
The gas system doesnot need to be checked when a gas cylinder is
changed.
