Before setting up the bed when the vehicle is stationary, the seats and backrests must be adjusted – (→ Folding
backrests forwards in first seat row) and (→ Second row of seats).
Setting up the bed
—Slide the seats in the first row all the way forward and set the backrest sufficiently far forward.
—Fold down the backrests of the second row of seats.
—Open the catch on the fixing strap.

ensures that both
sides are folded out at the same time. Make sure that there is sufficient clearance between the bed and the side

Folding the bed away
—Prise the bed frame out of the support position→

. Both sides are folded in at the same time. Make sure that there is sufficient
clearance between the bed and the side trim.

—Fold the bed up→ Fig. 1
until the bed is fully folded together.→
—Secure the bed with the fixing strap. Close the catch.→
—Fold back the backrests and adjust the seats.

WARNING
Serious injuries may result if you do not fold the bed up and down carefully and in a controlled manner.
● Always keep hands, fingers, feet and any other body parts away from the area when folding the bed in and out.
WARNING
Objects that are not secured, or are secured incorrectly, can cause serious injuries in the event of a sudden driving or
braking manoeuvre or accident.
● Never place any objects on the folded bed while the vehicle is in motion.
● The bed must always be folded up and secured with the fixing strap while the vehicle is in motion.
