Read the following information before using the gas cooker for the first time (→ Gas system).
Using the gas cooker
—When using the gas cooker for the first time, you may smell gas briefly.
—Open all the gas shut-off valves before cooking.

Turning on the gas flame
Moisture and dirt can hamper the spark discharge→ Ignition spark.
—Assemble the hob (→ Folding mini fridge).
—Open the safety valve on the gas cylinder (→ Gas system).
—Open the gas shut-off valve (→ Gas system).
—Fold up the cover.

—Push in the control knob→ Fig. 1
for the hob and turn it to the small flame symbol.

—Push in and hold the control knob and keep pressing the piezo igniter→ Fig. 1
until the gas has been lit.
—Continue to press and hold the control knob for about 15 seconds to prevent the gas flame from going out again.
—Release the control knob.
—Use the control knob to set the gas flame to the desired strength.
If you let go of the knob too quickly, the gas flame goes out. Then re-light the burner
Energy-efficient usage
For maximum energy efficiency when using the cooker, please follow these suggestions:
—Use pots and pans with a diameter of 16 – 20 cm.
—Use pots and pans with flat(not convex) bottoms.
—Centre pots and pans over the flame.
—The gas flame should not extend around the edge of the pot or pan.
Turning off the gas flame
—Turn the control knob for the gas flame to the symbol showing the filled circle.
—Close the gas shut-off valve.
—Close the safety valve on the gas cylinder.
—Remove all objects from the gas cooker and allow the cooker to cool fully.
—Close the hob (→ Folding mini fridge).
