Note
The towing bracket check is included in the scope of the re‐
spective service. A repair must be charged separately. It is only
performed if the customer requires it.
Check procedure
– Remove cover if fitted.
– Pull off protective cap from ball head mounting.
– Insert ball head into mounting.
Once ball head has been inserted, operating lever -1- must
be in rest position and green area of release pin -2- must be
visible. It must then be possible to close the towing bracket lock
by removing the key -3-. If this is not possible, the following
repair procedure must be performed.
Note
If a repair has to be carried out, this may only be done upon
consultation with the customer. A repair must be charged sepa‐
rately.
Repair procedure:
– Check contact surfaces of ball head mounting -arrows- for
corrosion.
