Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:
– Push head restraint as far as possible downwards.

– ⇒ Rep. gr. 74 ; Separate backrest cover from backrest
padding .
– Unscrew bolts -3-.
– Press in locking devices -arrows-. At the same time, push
head restraint guide -2- upwards.
– Remove head restraint guide -2- from backrest frame -1-.
Installing
Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

The lower locking devices must engage fully in backrest
frame.

Removing
Driver seat lumbar support adjustment switch - E176- and
front passenger seat lumbar support adjustment switch - E177-
will henceforth be referred to as “lumbar support adjustment
switch”.
