transmission will automatically shift
through the gears similar to a con-
ventional automatic transmission.
Unlike a traditional automatic trans-
mission, the gear shifting can
sometimes be felt and heard as the
actuators engage the clutches and
the gears are selected. When the
gear is shifting, you may sometimes
hear operating noise. This is nor-
mal and does not indicate a prob-
lem with your transmission.

Creeping function
7he Creeping function helps the vehi-
cle to start smoothly. If you take your
foot off the brake pedal when the shift
lever is either in R (Reverse), ' ('rive)
or 0 (0anual) position, the vehicle
will start slowly without depressing the
accelerator pedal. 7o disable the func-
tion, depress the brake pedal or pull up
the parking brake lever.
7he creeping function will not operate
when:
‡ 7he parking brake lever is engaged
with the shift lever in R (Reverse), '
('rive) or 0 (0anual) position
