Volkswagen We Connect combines various online services which provide you with additional vehicle functions.
Volkswagen We Connect lets you connect to your vehicle via a mobile telephone or internet-enabled computer.
To use Volkswagen We Connect, it must first be activated online by concluding aWe Connect contract with
Volkswagen AG and is subject to a restricted, country-specific period of validity.
Both the We Connect portfolios offered by Volkswagen and individual services may be changed, discontinued,
deactivated, reactivated, renamed and expanded without further notice.
Detailed information about the VolkswagenWe Connect functions and about how to set up a user account etc. are
available on the internet and also on the Volkswagen We Connect web portal after you have created a user account:
The provision and availability ofWe Connect services and service portfolios can vary from country to country and
depend on the vehicle and vehicle equipment.
Services portfolio
The available We Connect services depend on which We Connect package you have purchased, which user role is
assigned to your user account in the vehicle and whether the vehicle has been activated for a We Connect user
account or for a corporate Connect Fleet user account.
The initial assignment of services listed here represents the maximum possible scope. The maximum possible scope is
available only for a few vehicle models. There may be changes in the assignment shown here during the service life of
the vehicle.
Not all services are available in all vehicles and countries.
You can activate the “Manage services” function in the Infotainment system to see which services are available in the
vehicle, if any (→ Volkswagen Car-Net in vehicle).
The portfolio of offered services may be different than that specified here in some countries and in the event of
contract renewal.
The voice or search recognition technology for VolkswagenWe Connect does not recognise and return search results
for all words.
You can find out which services are associated withWe Connect, We Connect Plus and Connect Fleet when
We Connect individual options.
We Connect services that do not require activation:

You need to log into the Infotainment system to use the “Personalisation” service, but the vehicle does not
have to be activated in a We Connect account.
You need to log into the Infotainment system with a We Connect user account set to “primary user” to
purchase In-Car Apps (→ Manage users).
